Sheraz Arshad PhD(c)

Sheraz Arshad brings extensive knowledge and diverse expertise to TNT Justice Consultants as a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 18 years of experience. Currently a Staff Sergeant with the Toronto Police Service, he leads with dedication and strategic insight in various challenging roles throughout the organization. His broad experience encompasses Emergency Management, the Homicide Squad, Field Intelligence, Auto Theft investigations, the Criminal Investigations Bureau, Plainclothes and Undercover Operations, Technological Crimes, and uniform policing, including duties within the Community Response Unit.

Sheraz holds two bachelor’s degrees, a Master of Laws degree specializing in Technology and Intellectual Property Laws, and a Master of Disaster and Emergency Management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in socio-legal studies at York University. Alongside his professional duties, Sheraz serves as a part-time faculty member at both the Justice Institute of British Columbia and Centennial College in Toronto.

As a member of the York University Board of Governors, Sheraz contributes to the Land and Property Committee and the External Relations Committee, applying his deep understanding of law enforcement, technology, and community safety to enhance educational and operational policies. He also volunteers as a responder with the Canadian Red Cross.
