Gord Whealy


Gord Whealy has 34 years experience as a leader in Law Enforcement. Working  at the Toronto Police Service in Major Crimes Unit, Sex Crimes Unit, Behavioural Threat Assessment, Executive Officer Central Field Command, Acting Inspector 14 Division, Internal Affairs, Community Policing, Fraud, Juvenile Task Force, Criminal Investigation Bureau, Plainclothes Unit, Uniform Patrol, Bike Patrol, Youth Services and Traffic. Gord has a University Degree and College Diploma with extensive leadership, investigative, mentoring and teaching experience.  Gord has taught at Humber College, Centennial College and lectured in the United States and Canada on collaborative offender Management. Gord expanded his experience in the private sector for 6 years working is several roles becoming the Director of Security, Fire Operations and Training at Ontario Power Generation for the Pickering, Darlington and Wesleyville sites.  Gord has conducted internal confidential investigations in law enforcement and the private sector. Gord has sat on boards for on profit organizations combating drugs and housing for vulnerable women and their children fleeing violence. Gord has coached Rep  hockey and Rep lacrosse in his family’s community. Gord is a  committed teacher, mentor, leader and a transformational innovator.
