Marc Levine

Marc Levine has supported youth and adults who have come into contact with the justice system for the past 38 years.  He has worked as a Youth Probation Officer, Probation Manager, Program Coordinator, Program Supervisor and Regional Manager with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.   During his time with the Ministry, Marc was deemed to be an expert witness by the courts, on youth matters.    Marc also provided assessments to the courts on some of the highest risk youth in the Province at that time. Now retired from the Ministry, Marc maintains a keen interest and passion for issues of justice and mental health.  Marc has acted as a Board of Director member for a regional Children’s Mental Health Centre and since 2018, has been an active volunteer with the peer support organization, Boots On The Ground.

Marc attended York University, with a focus on sociology and psychology.  Marc has been a part time professor at Centennial College, since 2007.   Marc takes pride in being creative in the class and using humour in order to get the best effort from his students.

Marc has a love of travel, sports and the outdoors.
